An 'edgy' version of Snow White now?
So apparently the success of 'Alice in Wonderland' has given people the idea that they can go and create 'edgy' version of all these fairy tales. A new Snow White is in the works and possibly a Wizard of Oz down the road. Rumor has it Snow White might have Natalie Portman interested.

This is happening. They are actually making 'Battleship' based on the annoying game from our childhood into a movie. AND it's going to star Liam Neeson? Maybe it won't be that bad, if it's in the Das Boot or U-571 range, then I might actually see it.
