Zack Snyder to Direct New Superman Movie

It is set.  Zack Snyder will helm the re-re-envisioning of Superman.  On a list of "could not care less news" this is definitely near the top.  Don't like Superman.

Emma Stone in the Next Spider Man

Emma Stone will star in the Spider Man reboot as...Gwen Stacey?  This doesn't make sense, I have never seen anybody more perfect for the role of Mary Jane Watson than her, but it appears I am not making the casting decisions.

Aronofsky to Direct Wolverine 2?

Apparently Darren Aronofsky (on of the Jeff Report's favorite young directors of Hollywood) is in talks to direct the next Wolverine movie.  The first one sucked, so hopefully he either decides not to do it, or breathes new life into the series.

Johnny Depp and Tom Hanks Could be in the Same Movie

If the scheduling works out for Depp these two will team up for the first time.  As two of my favorte/better actors in Hollywood this would be a solid pairing that I really hope works out.

'Cast Away' in space? With a woman lead?

'Gravity' will be a forthcoming movie about a woman lost in space after her space station gets destroyed and how she tries to find her way back to Earth.  Apparently it's a really ambitious project but many leading actresses keep passing on it (Angelina Jolie, Natalie Portman) and now it's on Sandra Bullocks plate.  If done right it could be real interesting.
